Made exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, this wine is refined for several months in medium (50-80 Hl) oak barrels before being distributed. A fresh and vigorous wine, it combines good body and elegance with an impressive and persistent bouquet, with hints of blackberry and raspberry. Colour: ruby red. Bouquet : full and persistent, with hints of mulberry and raspberry. Flavour : warm, dry, generous and well-balanced. Foodcombination : red meat, pasta with meat sauces, pulses soup, half-mature cheese.
