Rosso di Montalcino is deep ruby red in colour. It is medium bodied with a good concentration on the mid-palate. Elegant in the mouth, it is well balanced with tempting flavours of red berries, violets, menthol and earthiness.A generous wine with smooth, velvety tannins that will satisfy all Sangiovese lovers. The perfect companion at mealtimes, it is ideal paired with red meat, veal, bruschetta and all kinds of cheeses andpasta dishes.
The color is an intense ruby red with faintly garnet tones. The initial aromatic sensations are sweetish and vanilla-like, typical of wines matured in barriques. The clean, ethereal bouquet then highlights Sangiovese’s spicy notes. On the palate we again find very well-integrated oak which, however, soon gives way to hints of wild berry fruit preserve and to that nuance of spices we perceived on the nose.

Goblet of medium size and roughly spherical shape, to allow better appreciation of the complex aromas. A straight opening will en‐ hance the flavour of the wine in the mouth, by directing it first to the sides and rear of the tongue, and then to the tip, and allow its softness to be properly evaluated.
Colour: Intense straw-yellow as it ripens assumes a still darker shade of color. Fragrances and flavors: the fragrant, fruity scent reminiscent of the warm crust of bread, to the intense smell of acacia flowers and the scent of ripe tropical fruits. The scent experiences confirmed on the palate, the wine is elegant and full-bodied with an extremely delicate yeasty notes and a strong character.
