The Montefalco Rosso Colpetrone is a blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Merlot. The full grapes are selected by hand, the mash fermentation takes about 10 days. The expansion is carried out immediately afterwards in French oak barrels for 12 months. The colpetrone has a ruby color, a fruity bouquet of raspberries, hints of spicy notes, fleshy and full, with a soft tannin structure.
The La Segreta Rosso has an intense vivid ruby color. On the nose aromas of currant and mulberry with a slightly spicy and minty finish. In the mouth, the wine shows its fine personality with aromas of ripe wild fruits, balanced by a very pleasant full-bodied and herbal taste. The tannins of La Segreta Rosso are soft and supple and give this red wine a very versatile character.
It has a light ruby red color, the fragrance reveals sweet juicy red fruits, sour cherries, wild strawberries, liquorice and vanilla. Juicy on the palate, soft, medium-bodied, fruits with a hint of dark chocolate. A very easy to drink wine.
To a deep, dark, almost impenetrable color, it spreads a rich, fine and persuasive scent of forest fruits and vanilla, with hints of leather and tobacco, pepper and laurel. In the taste of excellent structure, harmonious with a surprisingly soft finish.
Offers up generous fruit along with menthol, spices and hard candy, showing notable intensity while retaining an essentially mid-weight style. Strong, intense and powerful when young, complex and elegant with the ageing.
