The Montefalco Rosso Colpetrone is a blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Merlot. The full grapes are selected by hand, the mash fermentation takes about 10 days. The expansion is carried out immediately afterwards in French oak barrels for 12 months. The colpetrone has a ruby color, a fruity bouquet of raspberries, hints of spicy notes, fleshy and full, with a soft tannin structure.
The color is straw yellow, the bouquet fresh, delicate and pleasant. The flavor is intense persistent, dry, spicy and harmonious with a slightly bitter background.
A sweet Marsala, full and soft, which is ideal as a dessert wine. Try it once a tiramisu, blended with the Amaretto or in zabaglione.
This Dulcis is extracted from dried white grapes and gives off a fine spicy scent, reminiscent of apricot and lime blossom. Similar to the Vin Santo from Tuscany, the Dulcis has a bright golden yellow color, is soft and round with full aromatic flavor and elegant precious sweetness.
