The Chianti San Lorenzo by Fattorie Melini comes from the vineyards around Cipresseta. It is made with Sangiovese Grosso grapes and complementary grapes, harvested in October. After 3 or 4 days of pre-fermentation, the vinification process begins. During the malolactic fermentation, the wine is pumped numerous and thoroughly and then goes for a short time in wooden barrels in the development phase. Its bouquet, typical of these grapes, is reminiscent of the smell of sweet violets. The taste is dry, harmonious full, velvety and round. Goes well with salami and poultry, including cheeses such as grana and pecorino, as well as hearty pasta dishes.
